NYCDDC – Project No. SEK20065

Community Construction Liaison (CCL) services were provided by NY Professional Services (NYPS) to this infrastructure project. The project involved the installation of High-Level Storm Sewers, Catch Basins, Manholes, and Chambers, replacement of Water Mains, and the restoration of Roadways, Curve, and Sidewalks. This infrastructure upgrade is surrounding the Gowanus Canal. This upgrade improved water distribution, water quality, drainage, and resiliency. This capital infrastructure project was performed on 3rd Avenue between Douglass Street and Carroll Street and included Denton Place. These improvements will reduce flooding and bring that component of the sewer system into conformance with the current NYCDEP and NYCDDC standards.
