NY Professional Services (NYPS) is a sub-consultant providing Construction Inspection and Archeological work to this major capital construction project. The project involves updating the city’s over 100-year-old infrastructure, and restoring the neighborhood to its former glory and historic character. This project involves the installation of new 8″ and 12″ pipeline distribution water mains, 36″ box storm sewer, 15″ and 24″ combined sewer, and 15″ and 15″ sanitary sewer, and 36″ water main distribution. It also features new Pearl Street Triangle Plaza, equipped with outdoor recreational amenities as well as granite slab bike lanes, and replacement of the street bed and new historical cobblestone roadways, granite curbs, and pigmented sidewalks. This project also features installation of Manholes-45, Catch Basins-90, Chambers-6, and Hydrants-70. The road will be restored with the original cobblestones previously removed.
