NYCDDC – Project No. MED598B

NY Professional Services (NYPS) has been retained as a sub-consultant to provide Resident Engineering Inspection Services and Community Outreach services on this high-profile Truck Water Main Project essential to completing City Tunnel Number 3. Our CCL’s job was to minimize the impact of this project on residents and the business in the area. Additionally, our Inspector’s Job was to oversee the installation of Trunk Water Mains, Sewer, and Combined Sewers, Catch Basins with new curbs, sidewalks, and roadway reconstruction. This project included but was not limited to the installation of:

• 48″ trunk water mains and appurtenant accessories on 10th Avenue, between West 30th and West 31st Streets, the building
• New 12 and 20″ Water Mains on the east and west sides of 10th Avenue between 30th and 31st Street.
• Two (2) new 20″ discharge lines out of the shaft running on 10th Avenue to connect to the existing outfall just west of the sewer regulator located west of the intersection of 30th street and 12th avenue.
• And replacement of existing 4-0″ x 2-8″ sewer for 48″ R.C.P. CL III combined sewer on 11th Avenue between 30th and 31st streets with a new chamber in each intersection.
• Combined sewer in 11th Avenue between 30th and 31st Street,
• New 36″ and 48″ flow meters and chambers with sensing lines and two (2) new 24″ regulator valves.
